Birds and doves that are well-housed, cared for, and properly fed typically receive sufficient vitamins in their daily diet. This is especially true when CéDé egg food is consumed during breeding, moulting, and rest periods as per the instructions. However, in certain circumstances such as drafts, temperature fluctuations, illness, stress, flight season, or relocation (e.g., purchasing birds or bird shows), their resistance may be compromised. In these situations, birds and doves require additional vitamins to boost metabolism and regain fitness.
