High Energy Hand Feeding

Suitable for hand-rearing those parrot species that require high-fat diets: Psittacus, Ara (except Ara chloroptera and Ara ambiguus), Poicephalus and Pionites melanocephalus. It is a follow-on hand-feeding formula that should be used from the moment pin feathers emerge until weaning.

Daily Intake

It is advisable to prepare the formula with lukewarm water at a concentration of approximately 25 % solids. It is recommended to administer the formula with a soft feeding tube

.For younger animals, it is necessary to use a first-age hand-feeding formula like the Granivorous Psittacine Crop Milk or the Granivorous Neonatal Hand Feeding (depending on the age of the chick).

At weaning switch progressively to Omega or High Energy Breeding.
